Yes. A simple, long box able to hold it safely can be used for mailing. It would go through the mail the same way as any other package being sent to China would go.
Look for the mailing address data to show how to send gifts overseas. That will be different than the billing address.

We offer the 9623 bubble stick umbrella and the 818 bubble stick umbrella. The latter is sold at Wal-Mart, but both are available to be purchased from our website of www.totes-Isotoner.com, which will offer descriptions of both styles. The 818 is approximately an inch longer than the 9623 and larger, but the 9623 is a better quality umbrella. Both are covered under our lifetime warranty.

Tote Hoop Umbrella

Love these umbrellas. Do any of the models have handles that collape for small storage with the umbrella. My Granddaughter uses a hoop at the bus stop but its extended handlel makes it awkard on the bus. It is a Totes you know, famous for compact bumbershoots. Thanks

In the 818 Q&A, it was answered that the 818 is slightly shorter than the 9623. But in the 9623 A&A, it was answered that the 818 is larger and longer. What is the correct comparison of the two umbrellas? And is the 9623 really a better quality umbrella? How so? Does it withstand higher winds?

The 9623 umbrella is an inch or two longer than the 818 -- both have the same canopy arc. Both are wind resistant with the clear umbrella coming chest length.
